About me
I’m Rashmi, a yoga, meditation, and holistic health teacher. With roots in India and years of experience teaching and practicing wellness, I help people cultivate balance, clarity, and vitality through yoga, meditation, and Ayurvedic lifestyle practices.
I grew up in the small town of Kudremukh in India, where my journey with yoga quietly began. My introduction was unexpected — my mom signed up for a yoga workshop but sent me instead! Reluctantly, I woke up at 5 AM every day for a month. While I enjoyed learning the poses, I didn’t think much of it at the time.
At home, I often watched my dad practice yoga. His discipline, focus, and consistency left a lasting impression on me, and looking back, I realize these early experiences planted the seeds for a lifelong connection with yoga.
Years later, I moved to the U.S. for higher studies and earned a master’s degree in Software Engineering. Being a fitness enthusiast, I explored various activities like pilates, gym workouts, kickboxing, and spin classes. Yet, I always found myself returning to yoga—it was the one practice that brought me a sense of calm amidst the chaos.
This curiosity led me to dive deeper into ancient Vedic wisdom. Yoga has not only shaped who I am today but has also helped me embrace myself fully, free from external conditioning. Physically, it has kept me vibrant, stress-free, and consistent with my weight. Mentally and emotionally, it has taught me to navigate life with gratitude, ease, and fullness.
Through yoga, meditation, and an Ayurvedic lifestyle, I’ve discovered a way of living that feels authentic and nourishing. Now, I’m passionate about sharing these transformative practices with others, so they too can experience joy, balance, and inner peace.
